Game of Thrones author discusses HBO Show

George R. R. Martin sat down with Authors@Google recently to discuss his literary works and partnership with HBO. Martin’s popular fantasy novel and New York Times best-seller, A Game of Thrones, is the first book of the ongoing seven part “A Song of Ice and Fire” series. On April 17, 2011 HBO premiered a television adaptation of the novel and struck gold as millions of people flocked to each episode ending the series with extremely high ratings and a promising future viewership for the second season.

Buy The Dude’s Bungalow

Picture this; you come home from getting some groceries at Albertson’s, you walk in the door to your 1 bedroom bungalow, and a couple of goons grab you.  After smacking you around a bit, one drags you to your bathroom and proceeds to give you a flushy, without the courtesy flush.  Meanwhile his jackass friend proceeds to urinate on the rug that brought the whole room together.  This was a horrible day for The Dude, but admit it, it would be cool to own his house. I cannot tell you how many times I have wished that my iPhone was a remote for the TV. Doesn’t everyone have trouble finding the remote control for the TV?
