iPad Conference table

iPad Conference Table

I love this iPad confence table. Lately I have been seeing all kinds of new furniture ideas that involve iPad connectivity, everything from beds and loungers to Harley Davidson motorcycles. This conference table is the crème de la crème of high end office furniture.

Designed by DuPont this high-end, futuristic conference table has built in iPad connectivity. DuPoint, a designer furniture company, is known for making furniture out of Corian fiber, a solid material created primarily of acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate. The corian fiber can be thermoformed by being heated to 300°F. This allows the material to be formed into unique shapes. Corian is primarily used in kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity tops and wall cladding in showers. Because corian is non-porous it has been approved for use in specialized environments such as laboratories or hospitals.

This conference table comes complete with 16 docking stations for the Apple iPad. The iPads are secured in each docking station preventing theft. You can purchase this conference table in a variety of shapes, colors and finishes depending on the need of the customer.

The table would be ideal for large presentations or video conferencing. The DuPont conference table would allow for easy multi-tasking within meetings. Check e-mail, do Google searches on the go and browse the internet with one simple device.

I am also a fan of the design of the table that creates a fluid, modern design. I could see this conference table in the office of a Silcon Valley geek. I can even see something like this being used in the future to sign digital documents such as loan documents while in the office of your relator. I cannot wait to see these in the future.

Unfortunately in the article it is mentioned wrongly that the table is designed by DuPont. While in reality this table was being designed Kogrodesing.nl, a Dutch company part of Villa-ProCtrl.nl High Design.

The only connection we as a company have with DuPont is the fact that the Corian material used to make these tables is developed by DuPont.
